PROGRESS SO FAR

The Center has performed very well since its inception in 2019 . It has graduated 170 trainees in various skills in 7 batches. Our Literacy Classes are  populated mostly by house wives from the surrounding area and has so far graduated 48 students .Most of these graduates have been issued the equivalent of Primary School Certificate by the Kano State Agency for Mass Education .

Our training program has proven to be very effective in curtaining youth unemployment . Many of our graduates are currently engaged in running their own businesses.

After the usual skill acquisition program , the Center organizes an Entrepreneurship Seminar for the benefit of our graduates.The last of such seminar was organized on November 13th 2021.This seminar has played a part in encouraging the trainees to start their own business ..

BASHIR HABIB ABDULLAHI
Vice Chairman Board of Trustees Born on 5th April 1052 at Yakasai Kano city .He began his primary education at Gidan Makama primary school , Kano between 1959 -1965. his Secondary education saw him through Rumfa College Kano from 1966 - 1970. he proceeded to the Abdullahi Bayero College {AYCY ABU } for his preliminary studies in 1971 - 1972 .} His prelim certificate saw him through the Institute of administration , Ahmadu Bello University , Zaria from 1972 - 1975 when he graduated in the Degree of B.A. public Admin . He went for the National Youth Service Corps in Oyo State where he was posted for his primary assignment to teach at St.Bernardines Grammar School , Oyo from August 1975 to July 1976 . He joined the Kano State Civil Service as an administrative officer {Assistant Secretary } in August 1976 . His career in the Civil service progressed up to the rank of Director .While in the service of the Kano State Government , He was posted to various ministries , Department and Agencies to main various offices and capacities .
MOHAMMED I. ATTA
Attended Bayero University Kano Nigeria and graduated with a BSc degree in chemistry in 1984 . He also earned an MSc degree and MBA from the same university . Mohammed started his working career as an assistant lecturer with Borno College of Basic Studies , Maiduguri Nigeria and became head of department of chemistry . He started his banking career with the then Continental Merchant Bank where he worked incorporate banking and treasury . In 1997 he moved to African International Bank where he worked in customer service , retail banking and risk management . In 2003 he transferred his services to Nigerian Mobile Telecommunication Limited as a Senior Manager , Sales and Marketing and then as Senior Manager , Human Resources in charge of staff welfare and compensation . He has attended various courses in Banking and finance , Management , Marketing and Human resources . Mohammed is retired and currently serve on the Board Starfield Children Academy and Hadiza Imam Women Center { HIWC } . Since his retirement he has focused his energy on community work and social mobilization . Mohammed has been recently nominated as Board member and active treasurer to drive the successful launching of MCEI{Nigeria} to achieve its objectives .
